Are you planning a flight by plane and want to get to the airport by car? What to do with the car to ensure its safety and complete travel comfort? Today we are checking whether parking is profitable at Chopin Airport and other major airports in Poland.

Where to leave the car at the airport? This should be taken into account!

Do you want to get to the airport on time and with comfort? You can choose from several options for how to get there. Parking at Chopin Airport   in Warsaw or other major cities is a good option, but not the only one. Let’s take a closer look at where to park the car when going on a trip, and what to look for.

There are a few things to consider before choosing a specific parking space. It should be in a place where you can safely leave the car for a few days or even a week. For example,   the car park at Fryderyk Chopin Airport   is an official place that is well maintained, so you don’t have to worry about your car being damaged by stray dogs or cats or being accessed by strangers. However, not all areas are monitored or generally protected. You should check when you think about where to park your car at the airport in Warsaw, Poznań, Katowice or another major city.

The area where the car was left was not there. The weather in Poland is capricious, so if the pavement is not paved, you will be in for an unpleasant surprise upon arrival. Mud, snowdrifts – these are just some of the troubles that may surprise you. This is especially important when you choose, for example, free airport parking in a foreign zone, unverified and uncontrolled.

When you decide to   park at the airports in Gdansk,   Katowice, Warsaw or Wroclaw, keep in mind that you need to catch your plane on time. If it is located a few or a few kilometers from the destination, transportation will be required. Be sure to ask if it is paid extra and what time the buses leave.

Which airport parking to choose?

If you want to get to the airport, you have several options:

  • taxi use,
  • help a loved one in transport,
  • use of parking directly at the airport,
  • car park rental near the airport (private companies),
  • leave the car in the city center and travel on your own.

Airport parking   has many benefits. Gdansk   , Katowice, Wroclaw and Warsaw are just some of the major cities serving such a place. This has a lot of advantages – you leave the car near the airport, so you will get to it very quickly. The operation itself is very simple, because you get a ticket and pay for it only after leaving the premises. When you return to the city after some time, you will no longer have to worry about transport. The car is waiting for you on the left, that is, a few steps from the terminal. In addition, this space is still controlled and observed.

It is important!

Each airport has its own parking lots, most often they are divided into premium, hourly and daily zones. You should look at the site plan to know which ones are closer and which ones are farther from the terminal.

Airport car parks are   operated by third parties. You should clarify in advance whether there is a place for your car and what are the specific prices for leaving the car. The transfer to the airport we mentioned earlier is essential. At the height of the season, it may turn out that you need to wait a bit for transport. Of course, the closer to the airport the better, but fully organized transport will not be a problem if you get to the parking lot in advance and the transportation of passengers and luggage is included in the price.

It is important!

The price of parking at Warsaw airport   is quite high, especially if you leave the car for several days. Then you should consider an external company, because the cost can even be half as much. However, for smaller airports, prices should be compared as they can be very similar.

Whether it’s the   car park at Modlin Airport   in Warsaw or Nicolaus Copernicus in Wroclaw, always make sure the place is guarded. This means 24/7 security as well as a fence. Read online reviews and look at photos. Online booking, additional security (such as scanning the car at the entrance) or the ability to cancel or change the date of arrival at the parking lot are additional amenities that you should also pay attention to.

Attention!

It is impossible to definitively answer the question whether   parking at the airports of Wroclaw   , Warsaw, Katowice and Gdańsk is a better option than an external company. You should always compare prices and conditions to leave the car. Remember also that in a few or ten days you will return to the same place. Then it is important to transport to the car along with luggage.
