A vignette is a common payment method used on European motorways and represents the payment of transport tax. If you plan to use the toll road, you must purchase this sticker and stick it on your windshield immediately after crossing the border. The cost of European toll roads depends on the type of vehicle and the length of stay in the country. However, now in most countries where the system works, an electronic vignette has appeared.

In which countries do they use a vignette?

The vignette is used in nine European countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Switzerland.
