- Click on “Buy vehicle” and then on the tab “Via the Internet” – “Submit an application”.

- If the vehicle is community property, upon entering indicate that the other owners have consented to your actions – if so. When registering an imported vehicle, most of the required documents are the same, but there are a few additional steps. If the vehicle purchase contract was drawn up in Polish, it must be translated by a sworn translator – the same rule applies to other documents related to the vehicle. Such an obligation does not exist in the case of an approval issued in an EU country which contains harmonized codes at European Union level.
In addition, before registering a vehicle from abroad, you must pay the excise duty and submit a simplified excise tax return for the purchase of cars on the farm. Car registration and liability insurance in Poland
Remember that one of the requirements for registering a vehicle is liability insurance. Without such protection, not only will you not register your vehicle, but you also risk a fine that the insurance company’s guarantee fund may levy on you – a day’s protection break is enough. If you only have short-term license plates, you can already take out liability insurance.
